I will tell you what I did the day of 9/11. It was a bright, sunny day on September 11. It was about 8:20 when I went down to the bus stop to catch the bus. My friends across the street from my house came down. We chatted while we waited for the bus. When the bus came, we got on and went to school. I attended school at Kennedy School in Pa. When we got to school, we went down to our classrooms. I put my backpack away and went to my desk. I got my things out for English and Social Studies class. After we did the pledge, we exchanged classrooms. After we exchanged, we sat down and started English. We took some notes and did questions on the board. Then our homeroom teacher came in and told Mrs. Plecther, our English and Social studies teacher, that planes have crashed into the World Trade Center towers and into the side of the Pentagon. Mrs. Plecther then turned on the radio so we can here what was happening. We put our things away and listened to the radio. Then we got interrupted by a fundraiser program. We went down to the multi-purpose room to see the program. After the program, we went back and switched rooms. As of that time, students were getting excused like crazy. Every minute someone was excused. Then my brother, sister, and me were excused. We got our stuff and left the school. When we got home, we turned on the TV and watched it from then on. That night we watched President Bush's speech. That is What I did on 9/11/01 |
